Attendance at support group meeting - minute taker

West Lancs and Merseyside myeloma support group

  • We would be willing to offer a volunteering opportunity to a young
person 16 -18 to attend our meeting to gain experience and happy for
them to be accompanied by a parent /adult.

The role would be to take some notes and write up a 200 - 300 word
summary of the meeting, help with the computer and projector technology
and help with setting up furniture and clearing up.

It would also be a good opportunity to develop social skills and hear
about patients and carers in our local community who are affected by the
    blood cancer myeloma.

It may be possible to act as a reference for the young person, and happy
to reimburse out of pocket expenses.
