Explorer Scout Leaders, Assistants & Supporters

Ormskirk & District Scouts

Would you like to help give 14 - 17 year olds #skillsforlife?

Week by week, our volunteers empower Explorer Scouts from all around West Lancs - Ormskirk to Tarleton, Burscough to Crawford Village - to learn new skills, make new friends and develop their independence.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help steer these young people to adulthood, and there are a variety of opportunities depending on your time and strengths.

We're talking Leaders, Assistants Leaders, mini bus drivers, skill sharers, tea makers, first aiders and even tidy-uppers!

You could be a student who wants to boost their CV, a parent who wants to spend more time as a family doing adventurous activities or someone who just likes to help.

Our door is open to people of all ages, genders, races and backgrounds, so whether you can spare 3 hours a week or 2 hours a month, we would love to hear from you.

We are only able to change lives because people like you are prepared to lend a hand.

Full training will be given; all we need is your enthusiasm.
