Lancashire Heritage (2018) CIC
Becconsall is a not-for-profit living museum and heritage park on a 20-acre Biological Heritage Site in Hesketh Bank, between Southport and Preston. We celebrate Lancashire’s industrial, social and craft heritage, while creating a welcoming place for visitors, volunteers and the local community.
We are looking for volunteers to help with general upkeep, grounds care and small jobs around the site. This flexible role is ideal for anyone who enjoys being outdoors, getting stuck in, and helping with the everyday jobs that make a big difference.
This role may include:
• Clearing the area in front of the Welcome Centre and keeping the approach tidy.
• Grass cutting and light grounds maintenance.
• Litter picking and general tidying around the site.
• Helping with small repairs and odd jobs as needed.
• Moving light items, preparing areas for visitors, or supporting event set-up and pack-down.
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the team.
• Supporting the site team to keep Becconsall safe, presentable and welcoming.
Tasks can be matched to your confidence, experience and physical ability, and you’ll always have support nearby.
