Ormskirk Retail Shop Assistant

Woodlands Hospice

Working in a busy shop environment you will play an essential part in providing outstanding service to customers who shop with us and those who generously donate items. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing donations, preparing and steaming clothing for sale, and managing the rotation and restocking of items. Additionally, you’ll handle pricing merchandise, operating the till, and ensuring the shop remains clean and welcoming.

Your role will also involve representing the hospice, sharing information about its services, and helping the Retail Department in supporting the hospice’s vital work. You’ll create attractive displays, sort donations effectively, and collaborate with a dedicated team of volunteers. Through these efforts, you’ll help generate the funds that enable the hospice to provide exceptional specialist palliative and end-of-life care.
