School and Street Pastor

We are looking for Street Pastor volunteers to serve on the

streets of Ormskirk on a Friday or Saturday night, once a month;

to help care for and listen to those we meet, and to share the

love of Christ.

We also need School Pastor volunteers to serve in small teams of three or four

people to engage with children outside Ormskirk School and St

Bede's School, on any week days, offering friendship,safety.

During this after-school period, children are very vulnerable to bullying, drug traffickers and petty crime. There are other opportunities to help in the schools as well.

What skills do I need?

Must be over 18 years of age

Attend a local Church

Have a positive reference from their Church leader

When do I need to be available?
