Signpost Café Helper/Advisor

The Signpost Café is currently held every Wednesday at the Ecumenical Centre in Skelmersdale. It offers a warm and friendly  welcome to everyone whether they are calling in for a brew with friends or looking for advice on where they can get help with any problems they are experiencing

Volunteers do a wide  variety of things from helping set up and pack away, making drinks for customers offering a friendly chat or a listening ear, or signposting people to organisations that can offer help. Volunteers  also help to plan and deliver events and activities that take place at at the café at various times

What skills do I need?

Good listener, non-judgmental, friendly, patience.
