Sitting in Service Volunteer

Do you have just 2 hours a week to sitting with a cared for person; in their own home while their carer gets a much needed break? You could be playing cards; watching TV or simply chatting. This is a very rewarding role as you will be with the same people each week at a time that suits you; full training is given; lots of support available and out of pocket expenses for travelling with be reimbursed to you.

Sitting in sessions can take place at a mutually agreed upon time between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday - Friday. This is to ensure that a staff member is on duty and contactable during your session should you need assistance or guidance.
