Overall purpose -   To facilitate recycling of donated school uniforms & clothes to West Lancs Families


Key Responsibilities – The main duties of FUSS Volunteers

• Empty collection drums and take into your hub

• Weigh in the clothes, keeping accurate records

• Check clothes for cleanliness, condition and relevance, separating into sorting, laundering, mending and waste sections

• Sort clothes by hub, school and size, allocating other hub clothes for distribution

• Check for electronic requests and process according to your hub’s system

• Help to make families welcome who come to the hub & serve them with the clothes they need

• Keep accurate records of items given away, to how many families and quarterly stock checks

• Keep hub area clean & tidy, allowing for multiple room usage where needed

• Report any problems and issues to Project Co-ordinator

• Regularly keep to your agreed hours, or give notice of absence as soon as possible
