Telephone or PenPal Support Befriender

n-compass Northwest

Do you like to help others? Do you have a spare hour in your week to connect with a carer? n-compass operates across the North of England to help people regain control of their lives; providing hope and a sense of purpose; through the provision of Carers; Advocacy; Wellbeing; Counselling and Volunteering Services. We have volunteering positions for our CHAT Line (Carers Support And Talk) and our PenPal scheme. With each service you would be matched to an individual carer and provide regular phone calls and/or letters. The only cost to the volunteer is their time. Telephone numbers and addresses are kept confidential at all times. Full training is given and all volunteers will be vetted and referenced for suitability and will need to complete a full induction process to become an official n-compass volunteer.
