Volunteer Ranger Service - Visitor Centre gardener

WLBC Parks and Countryside Service

The Ranger Service are looking for a keen, knowledgeable gardener to take care of the gardens/flower beds around the Beacon Country Park Visitor Centre. The gardens should contribute to the conservation value of the area but also look smart and welcoming for visitors.

This role is flexible and can be completed during opening hours during the week or the weekend. This varies seasonally. The time taken to maintain the gardens will vary seasonally but on average will take 4-6 hours per week. Tools will be provided and a small budget is available for purchasing plants. This project also offers an opportunity for volunteers to apply for grant funding to maintain/improve/promote the gardens.
