To provide one
to one counselling with adults who are affected by childhood sexual abuse,
sexual violence or rape.
- To engage in
weekly therapy sessions with adults affected by rape and or sexual abuse.
- To inform the
Safeguarding Lead of any safeguarding issues and or/concerns regarding
their client/case load
- To complete with
the client and submit 6 weekly client outcome feedback & update the
results on a case management system
- To complete
client reviews
- To update a case
management system after each session
- To comply with
all Trust House Lancashire’s policies and procedures
- To attend case
management meetings
- To attend
volunteer induction training and continuing professional development
training provided by Trust House Lancashire which includes safeguarding
training provided every 2 years.
- To receive
regular clinical supervision, to attend bi-monthly group supervision and
bi-monthly supervision with THL Clinical Lead
- To undertake and
attend relevant training.
- To work in
conjunction with the Trust House Lancashire team to provide a quality
service
- To keep the Volunteer
Services Co-ordinator informed of any emerging problems in regard to their
work and to attend a quarterly volunteer review meeting

Qualifications:
- Undertaking a diploma/degree/MA
in counselling
- To have competed
20 counselling placement hours
Student
membership of a recognised counselling regulatory body and an understanding and
adherence to their ethical framework
